We are so excited to have you with us. Girl Talk is a feminist movement-building
program that offers safe space for diverse groups of women to first humanize their
experiences via the exchanges of ideas, questioning patriarchy and secondly reinforces
sisterhood and finally strategize and organize on how to create change within their
communities. We realize that through socialization, women operating in patriarchy
internalize their oppression. It is, therefore, important for women to be aware of this
socialization, talk about their issues, unlearn the internalized sexism, and speak about
how they envision themselves locating and using their power
Volunteering with us
At Choose Yourself we offer volunteer opportunities for all our programs Whether you
are a professional or a student, you will be able to find a volunteer posting in a field that
suits your interest, experience or studies with us. We accept applications all along the
